Hello earthlings I'm currently in a dilemma whether to change the topic of my thesis because something really tragic happened. My notebook had a malware so my more-than-half-done thesis got wiped out. And as if this isn't bad enough, all my research materials are gone too. This is like a double blow to my fragile little heart. Tragedy like this makes me doubt whether I love or hate technology more.
So the lesson learnt here is to be really kiasu and double triple save your documents.
And never trust technology.
