Cherish always

Celebrate Hanna's birthday last weekend, sadly the weather wasn't too forgiving. But at least we all had fun (I think)!

My very colourful family!

On a side note, the 2 babies are growing wayyyyy too quickly! They are both warriors each on their own. I think it's something we don't always talk about at home, after all who wants to keep being reminded of that stress the family went through when meow was constantly in and out of hospital, or when we were worrying our butts off about lun? They are both fighting their own battles, we are all in it together. It's nice to see how people around are so warm and helpful towards us, how people genuinely care and not just being nosey parkers, or worse still, just saying things as if it's very easy on our family.

Twinning with fats, we just had to document this!

HONG KONG 2015

The streets of Hong Kong

In the happiest train everrrrrrrrrrr!

Blending into the Hong Kong culture

The police station right next to where we stayed. The legendary Yau Ma Tei Police Station that appeared in sooooooooooooo many Hong Kong dramas! I just had to...

A beautiful sunset we caught while rushing for our train

Stayed in an AirBnB apartment and had a little celebration!
Happy birthday me and Happy Father's Day!

The weather was insanely hot and there was so much more to do! Time was seriously not enough :(
Can't wait for the next trip out mighty soon! xx

It's a neon party!

Went for a neon party at Que Pasa for Sue Ann's birthday. Great to see everyone loosen up from the usual tensed up work mode. People like these makes work more bearable, and life less depressing, somewhat. No doubt I made sure to don a million glowing stuff, I felt like the star of the night for awhile.

Happy birthday Sue Ann the Amazing Lawyer!

It takes a couple weeks for the fog to settle, but it’s always a period of self-priority and growth. Life presents you with so many decisions. A lot of times, they’re right in front of your face and they’re really difficult, but we must make them.
– Brittany Murphy

life's only gonna get more exciting from now on.may the odds be ever in my favour, really.

I'll never forget a single moment.

The entire summer was perfect, the kind of summer everyone should have. How could I pick one moment over another? Poets often describe love as an emotion that we can't control, one that overwhelms logic and common sense. That's what it was like for me. I didn't plan on falling in love with you, and I doubt if you planned on falling in love with me. But once we met, it was clear that neither of us could control what was happening to us. We fell in love, despite our differences, and once we did, something rare and beautiful was created. For me, love like that has happened only once, and that's why every minute we spent together has been seared in my memory. I'll never forget a single moment of it.”

Bangkok jam.

“Love entered in my heart one day; a sad, unwelcome guest.
But when it begged that it might stay, i let it stay and rest
It broke my nights with sorrowing; it filled my heart with fears
And, when my soul was prone to sing, it filled my eyes with tears.
But...now that it has gone its way, I miss the dear ole pain.
And, sometimes, in the night I pray that Love might come again.”
― J. California Cooper

almost forgotten how it feels to travel with my Family, so this is one good short trip to relive the good ole’ memories and spend quality time together. although it’s quite a pity that jie couldn’t join us, it only means that there’s always the next to look forward to!
can’t wait to leave again because leaving is always easier than staying in familiarity.

The Greatest Gift

“Human lives are not pieces of string that can be separated out from a knot of others and laid out straight. Families are webs. Impossible to touch one part of it without setting the rest vibrating. Impossible to understand one part without having a sense of the whole. This, is what we call, Family”

I can’t decide whether life’s starting to slow down – because it’s so boring and mundane, or pick up – because the stresses of exams is certainly building up. Le sigh, life of a student.
4 months since my last dive, I feel deprived already. I. NEED. COMPRESSED. AIR. Maybe I should just do it… Seeing a diveable beach without diving is like… seeing the love of your life walk away without you running after. Yeah, you get the drift.

Till the next post,
xoxo.
