Celebrate Hanna's birthday last weekend, sadly the weather wasn't too forgiving. But at least we all had fun (I think)!

On a side note, the 2 babies are growing wayyyyy too quickly! They are both warriors each on their own. I think it's something we don't always talk about at home, after all who wants to keep being reminded of that stress the family went through when meow was constantly in and out of hospital, or when we were worrying our butts off about lun? They are both fighting their own battles, we are all in it together. It's nice to see how people around are so warm and helpful towards us, how people genuinely care and not just being nosey parkers, or worse still, just saying things as if it's very easy on our family.

Memory is a funny thing.

this weekend left all of us more relieved than ever. to those who kept us in your prayers, thank you and really appreciate it. these are the people you know who truly care and will help you when you're in need. and i'm really grateful that the love of Family was further magnified in times like this. i guess it's really true no matter how angry your family is at you, they are the ones who will never walk away from you.

happy birthday big man! can i selfishly hope you never get a girlfriend so we can continue going out as two lonely souls?

so it's confirmed, australia-bound in december. i don't know how i should be feeling about it. i wish you knew. perhaps it's time to leave the past where it belongs.

and this marks the end of another weekend (sadly).

it’s going to be a tough period for the family from now on. past two days have been so tearful and heavy it makes me fully realise the importance of family – the only place you’ll feel unconditional love and support. i pray for strength to overcome whatever lies ahead and wisdom to make the right choice.

One step at a time.

survived another week at work, some days it gets really crazy but i guess that’s the problem with the legal industry, so i guess i just have to resign to fate. which makes me wonder how long do people remain in this industry until they decide to call it quits. that they decide staying in the office for 15hours per day is too much to bear, that doing legal research for days only to realise that they need to abandon it in the end… really hats off to those who survived and are still surviving! this is really the survival of the fittest hmmm… ohwell, it’s only the beginning for me and there’s still a longggg way to go. just that i really miss going out with friends and meeting them as and when we wanted, and spending time with my family, and sleeping in (THIS IS THE WORST).

so here’re some #ootd to share. every night i’ll face the same dilemma of what to wear… i mean it’s already depressing enough that i cannot sleep in and cannot meet my friends right, so must dress up to make myself feel better! and i always have a blazer with me (not featured haha), but it’s usually too warm in the morning so i only put it on when i get to the office. and sometimes it gets a little difficult to find work-appropriate clothes cause some of my dresses are too short for work. or they become too short when i’m on heels… sigh pie what a headache.

my face for work which is exactly the same everyday haha. and i’m starting to like those bangs ^^

one day after work and managed to catch jasper still awake!

and here’s me before Zumba lesson. yes i’m taking Zumba lessons now so I workout and dance at the same time haha. to counter all that sitting and eating and not moving around at work!

Life’s a roller coaster.

hi world, finally squeezing in some time for this space. oh boy, how i miss the internet. so as most of you would have already known, i’ve started working. sigh pie, boring story of my life. but it’s goos that i can apply what i’ve learnt. the sad part is that i’m really not a morning person so waking up and staying conscious is really a HUGEEEE barrier for me. one week into working i still feel like shit every morning ;( ohwell, i really gotta get used to this.

and here’s a photo of me (and my new bangs) with huishi and lester at their wedding luncheon. my first friend getting married!!!! really happy for them now that their days of skype and whatsapp are finally over! their long-distance relation that actually ends in such a blissful matrimony is just so… overwheminggggg :’) gonna miss her when she leaves for Oz but hey, change is always good xx.
